For the ten captivating storytellers at The Moth’s GrandSLAM: Fuel to Fire show, I tried to capture raw emotion during each five-minute performance. Shapes and symbols represent the sentiment of both the storyteller and the audience. I drew these live during the show; each drawing simultanously reflects the data collection and visualization process.
